Palermo's Pizza held its 3rd annual Easter Baskets for the Hungry drive on March 31st, 2010. The event was made possible by generous sponsor donations and a partnership with the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee. Over thirty office employees and a handful of volunteers helped distribute non-perishable food items into 1000 bins! Scott Walker even stopped by to lend a hand. Canned vegetables, fruit juice, rice, cereal, potatoes, and jellybeans were just a few of the items inside the bins. Each filled tote will feed one family for an entire week. At the end of the day, Palermo's collected over 22,000 pounds of food for needy families this Easter. Please visit some of the links below to get a firsthand glimpse of what was accomplished.

On Saturday March 27th, about 30 lucky kids participated in a special Milwaukee Bucks Clinic at the Cousins Center in St. Francis, WI. Boys and girls aged 8-14 were shown tips and tricks by current Bucks big men Luc Mbah A Moute and Kurt Thomas. Bucks Assistant Coach for Player Development Bill Peterson also provided some inspiring words as well. The kids were invited from 2 local groups - Hoops for Kidz and Eastbrook Academy. Parents also tagged along to take pictures of the once in a lifetime experience. To end the session, everyone indulged in delicious Palermo's Pizza, of course! Slices of Rustico cheese, pepperoni, and sausage proved to be a great way for everyone to recharge after an afternoon workout. A very special thank- you to all the Bucks staff, coaches, and players for making this Clinic so special.
