The name Palermos Pizza comes from Sicily, where our founder Gaspare and his Wife Zina are from. They named the company after Palermo, the capital of Sicily. It has around 1.2 million people in it's metropolitan area and is over 2,700 years old!
One of the biggest events in all of Sicily is The Feast of Saint Rosalia on July 15th. It is a celebration of food family and friends taken to epic proportions. Hundreds of thousands of people join together to sample each-others family recipes, and the resultant mix of flavor and culinary creativity is unmatched in nearly all the world- just ask anyone who's been!
